Stop wasting energies, start saving with with the new MES SoftLi additional module

Time is precious, especially when it comes to energy consumption. Each second your machines run without reason costs you money. That's why we created the Energy Tracker module, helping you save both money and the environment. But there are even more advantages.

More than just energy measurement

The EnergyTracker module is the latest addition to the MES SoftLi family, measuring electricity consumption on machines in real time through external hardware. It also integrates this data with other data from the production information system.

For each machine, in addition to its energy consumption, you’ll also see:

  • which order is currently running on it;

  • which operator is working on it;

  • what product is being manufactured.

This enables you to carry out deeper analysis and take data-driven actions that save you money.

You will quickly uncover insights like:

  • whether machines are consuming energy during downtime or weekends even when not producing;

  • whether one machine uses more energy than another, even though they should perform the same;

  • whether some operators are more energy-intensive than others due to inefficient machine handling

  • how much energy is used to produce a specific product;

  • how much energy was consumed to complete a specific order.

Thanks to its integration with other modules, you can also define custom rules and have the system respond automatically when specific situations occur.

This solves one of the most common problems our customers face – operators sometimes forget to turn off machines when they go for lunch or rush home on Fridays. The machines stay in stand-by mode and waste a lot of energy.

Now all you need to do is set the Alarms module to notify you when a machine isn't running, but its current energy consumption exceeds your specified threshold.

Examples for different types of production environments are presented in dedicated article.

The Energy Tracker module can also serve as an imaginary preventive maintenance

Machines speak through their energy use – when something’s wrong, they consume more.

Set consumption thresholds to detect anomalies early and take action before the issue escalates.

What does the implementation process look like?

Fast and simple.

Velmi rychle. Simply buy the hardware from us, connect it to the machine's distribution panel, and it takes about 20 minutes.

However, it is necessary for the task to be carried out by a person who meets the requirements set by Act No. 250/2021 Coll., the Occupational Safety Act in relation to the operation of reserved technical devices and amendments to related laws, which replaced the original 'Decree 50' in 2022.

This must be done by a person who meets the necessary qualifications as required by occupational safety regulations for operating designated technical equipment.

Then you just order the license as you are used to from other additional modules.

The installation is intuitive. You will receive installation and configuration instructions from us, but if you’d like, we can handle the full implementation for you.

Compatibility with other systems

Just the connection of production data with the energy consumption curve will give you a comprehensive view of the efficiency of individual machines, but we advise you to integrate the Energy Tracker module with ERP data, where, you can for example track current energy prices. This way, you’ll see the proverbial 'big picture.
