Instant information => Fast response: Even unexpected problems won’t catch you off guard

Even the slightest delay can become expensive. And while calculating the lost profit, there’s always that thought: “ If only we had known about this a bit earlier.”

That’s why we’ve introduced the Alarms module in MES SoftLi – giving your team real-time alerts and the power to act fast.

Some situations simply can’t be predicted – no matter how well you plan. But with MES SoftLi, you can be sure the right people will be notified the moment they occur.

Examples of events that can trigger an alert:

  • Equipment malfunction

  • Specific type of downtime

  • Shortage of raw materials

  • Exceeding defined thresholds – e.g. high temperature, low pressure

  • A sudden stop on the line

  • Downtime that lasts longer than expected

  • Manual alert triggered by button

  • … or any other custom-defined event

However, it can also be set up for common situations such as the start and end of production.

Real-life example:

The logistics department receives an email the moment a production order is completed. They're instantly notified that the batch is ready – so they can start distribution or move the goods into storage without delay.

You choose the type, style and recipient of each alert

How would you like your notifications delivered? Via SMS? By email? Through a REST API connection to your system? Or perhaps using our API to link directly to your machine terminal and display notifications there?

Would you like to create your own notification templates to ensure the visuals and content align perfectly with your preferences and brand guidelines? Do you want to notify only your team or keep your customers in the loop as well? The choice is yours.

Alarm classification, escalation & reporting

One alert means fire on the roof. Another? Not so much. You can assign different urgency levels to your alarms – so your team always reacts at the right time, not all the time.

The escalation feature is based on the same logic of prioritizing importance. For instance, MES SoftLi can be set up to notify operators when scrap reaches 4%, escalate to management at 7%, and alert the director if it hits 10%.

All alarm records are, of course, available anytime in well-structured reports showing all the key information – including time and date, type of alarm, the affected device and the relevant system.

Do you want to identify recurring problems and fix them right away?

Ask for a DEMO – seeing is believing. Test MES SoftLi on your own production line and see for yourself why it’s the best on the market, especially with its powerful additional modules. Then decide.
