OEE
OEE stands for Overall Equipment Effectiveness. It is an indicator that measures equipment productivity.
How to calculate OEE
OEE = PERFORMANCE × AVAILABILITY × QUALITY
Performance (%) = actual production rate ÷ expected production rate
Availability (%) = actual operating time ÷ planned operating time
Quality (%) = percentage of good products out of total production
Measuring OEE allows manufacturers to identify gaps in productivity and performance quality that need to be addressed.
OEE is the most well-known efficiency metric.
